Strawberry Hill Pond and Stream Study

Yesterday we visited the Strawberry Hill Nature Preserve in Fairfield, PA. This was our second trip to Strawberry Hill - we visited in early spring for their Maple Sugaring program. Yesterday the kids got to do a pond and stream study - learning what makes for a healthy watershed and living environment for all the water critters. They also got to collect specimens of various critters and identified them with the help of "Mr. Eddy" - the nature preserve's educator.
